CAMON LA25 DOMESTIC AERATOR HOLLOW AND SPIKE

Lawn Aerator Hire

Aerate soil & improve drainage for thick and healthy lawn growth

Our petrol lawn aerators are professional standard pieces of equipment, ideal for gardeners and landscapers as well as DIY users. They feature a set of tines which punch into the ground to aerate the soil, improve drainage, decompact the ground, and allow nutrients and water into the soil. This improves grass root growth and encourages a healthy, thick and beautiful lawn. You can book a lawn aerator hire online or over the phone with our hire team. You can collect your order from your local depot or we can deliver to you.

Solid Tines v Hollow Tines

Our lawn aerators are available with either solid or hollow tines. Solid tines punch holes into the lawn whilst hollow tines remove cores of earth from the ground. Solid tine aeration offers a general treatment for already well established and maintained lawns. Hollow tines are ideal for less well maintained lawns with more severe compaction problems. Hollow tines are also the best option for use on soil with high clay content.

When to aerate your lawn

The ideal time to aerate your lawn is during growing season – in spring or early autumn. The soil in your lawn should be moist when you aerate it, as the tines may struggle to penetrate the ground if the soil is dry. If there has been no rain recently, it is best to water the lawn a day or two before aerating to ensure that the soil is moist.
